Photography Workshop - Greece

Visitors and conquerors alike, since before recorded history, have been mesmerized by Greece's beauty. From the rising sun's piercing rays as they illuminate the monastery on Mount Athos to the long rays of warm setting sun on the stones of the ancient acropolis in Athens, this is a country whose soil, rivers and mountains have sustained a culture as complex as it is staggeringly beautiful.

Our photography workshop in Greece begins in Athens where, for a few days, participants will capture scenes of Athenian's streets, of markets and of ancient temples. Two day trips to the place ancient Greeks believed was the birthplace of the earth, Delphi and a visit to the astounding monasteries of Meteora balance fascinating and unforgettable days in the Greek capital.

On the fourth morning of the workshop, participants fly to the island of Mykonos. Participants will have the opportunity to explore the ancient sites and narrow pathways of this most unique of Greek isles. After an overnight on the island, the workshop participants will travel by ferry the short distance to the island of Delos, mythical birthplace of Apollo and Artemis. The ancient ruins of this deserted island offer incredible opportunities for photographers.

After returning the Mykonos for another evening on the island, participants will work with David during an evening 'shoot'. The following morning, clients will return to Athens by air and will spend one final evening with David in the city of Athens to conclude the workshop.
