Amausi Airport (IATA: LKO, ICAO: VILK), renamed as Chaudhary Charan Singh International Airport is an airport situated at Amausi, 11 km (6.8 mi) from Lucknow

. The airport serves as the primary civilian aviation hub for the metropolitan area of the cities of Lucknow and Kanpur
. The airport is served by many international and domestic carriers. It offers seven nonstop flights to Mumbai on a daily basis. It is the second busiest airport in North India after Indira Gandhi International Airport in Delhi.
Terminal-1 (International Terminal)
Its the old terminal supposed to be used exclusively for International flights. The very terminal is used as Hajj Terminal during the Hajj pilgrimage. This terminal is under maintenace and will be operable soon.
Terminal-2 (Domestic Terminal)
A new integrated terminal was completed in April 2012.The terminal was inaugurated by civil aviation minister Ajit Singh on May 19, 2012, before opening on June 2, 2012.This new integrated terminal designated as Terminal-2 is supposed to be used exclusively for domestic flights. Till now, it is being used for both domestic as well as international flights as old terminal (Terminal-1) is under face lift.
