Dolpo is also called «Ba Yul» or the Hidden valley is a land of mystery, scenery and peace. Surrounded by Dhaulagiri and Tibet from south and north, The Dolpo region is the natural embodiment of high passes, rare flora and fauna and sweeping vistas. The medicinal plant, Yarchagumba (Coerdiopsis sinensis) a type of wild mushroom is found in abundance in this region. Extracts from Yarchagumba is believed to significantly improve health and fitness. This trekking is for combination of natural and cultural phenomena which is enriched by the traditional Tibetan cultural heritage. It is a rain shadow area and was opened in 1991 for trekking. The whole trekking areas in this region stretches through and around Arun River whose origin dates back to prehistoric period. The Arun valley is one of the most beautiful regions to trek in Nepal.
Dolpo is protected by Shey-Phoksundo National Park. It lies to the north of the Dhaulagiri Range bordering the Tibetan Plateau. Here one can find a well-preserved eco-system of plants and wildlife, including the blue sheep and the elusive snow leopard. The view of Kanjiroba peak, Phoksumdo Lake, and the Dhauligiri massif is one of the most rewarding moments of this trek. A visit to the Phoksumdo Gompa – dedicated to the ancient Bonpo religion, local to Dolpo and Tibet, is a memorable experience.
Day 01: Arrival in the Tribhuvan International Airport, Kathmandu. Upon arrival, you will be taken to hotel.
Day 02: Drive from Kathmandu to Nepalgunj (152M) which takes approximately twelve hours and you may also flight to Nepalgung that takes 45m.and over night in hotel
Day 03:Fly from Nepalgung to Juphal, which takes about 30m and then trek to Dunai (2230m)which takes approximately five hours. You Camp for night
Day 04:Fly from Dunai to shvvanta (2520M)via Raktang it will takes approximately six hour so you may camp here for the night stay.
Day 05:Trek from Shyants to Rachi(2940m.) Via Chhepka it takes approximately seven hours. You may camp here.
Day 06:Trek from Rachi to Phoksundo (3733m.) via Amchi Hospital.takes approximately five hours. You may camp here
Day 07:Treks from Phoksundo (3733M) via Amchi Hospital it takes approximately seven hour so that you may camp here for the night stay.
Day 08:Trek from Sallaghari to Yak Kharka (3856 m.) This takes approximately seven hours
Day 09:Trek from Yak Kharka to Shey Gompa (4160 m.),This takes approximately six hours. You may camp here.
Day 10:Trek from Shey Gompa to Saldang(3770m)via Sela Bhanjyang you may walk along Namgung river, and visit Salding Lake which takes approximately seven hours.
Day 11:Treks from Saldang to Yak Kharka (3956M) and it takes approximately seven hour so you may camp here for the Night stay.
Day12:Trek from Yak Kharka to Thaksema (4702m.) which takes approximately seven hours. You may camp here
Day 13:Trek from Thaksema to Dhotarap (3944M) and it takes approximately eight hour so you may Camp here for the Night.
Day 14:Trek from Dhotarap to River side (3756M) which takes approximately six hours so you may camp here.
Day 15:Trek from River side to odar, which takes approximately seven hour so that you may Camp here.
Day 16:Trek from Odar to Eklebhatti (2970 m.), which takes approximately six hours. You may camp here
Day 17:Trek from Eklebhatti to Dunai (2140 m.) which takes approximately six hours. You may camp here
Day 18:Trek from Dunai to Juphal (2475 m.) which takes approximately three hours. You may camp here
Day 19:Fly from Juphal to Nepalgunj to Kathmandu by flight and then transfer to hotel
Day 20:Leisure day and shopping in Kathmandu.
Day 21:Full Day sightseeing in Kathmandu valley (Durbar Square, Swoyambhunath, Boudhanath & Pashupatinath) and Nepalese cultural program with farewell dinner in the evening
Day 22: Final departure.
