Stroll along the Arcadian Way and see the Great Theater – the huge Hellenistic ruin that once seated more than 25,000 people. See Library of Celsus and visit the Temple of Hadrian.

After a 2-course lunch in town, continue your tour. See the Basilica of St John, where St John the Apostle is believed to be buried, and then visit the House of the Virgin Mary, where Mary is said to have spent her last days. See the incredible Temple of Artemis; once a shrine to the Greek goddess, now one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. Return to Kusadasi and spend your evening at leisure in town.

Views from here are breathtaking; look out at the white travertine terraces contrasting with the neighboring sandy colored mountains, and then walk to Hierapolis -- an ancient city with magnificent ruins and geothermic pools.
