Day 1 : Arrive in Bangkok / Grand Palace - Golden Temple - China Town (B)
Up on arrival Bangkok Airport, meet with airport representative you will lead you to private vehicle transfer to hotel. Remaining of the day is free at leisure.

12:00 pick up and transfer to visit Grand Palace, undoubtedly the city's most famous landmark. Built in 1782 - and for 150 years the home of the Thai King, the Royal court and the administrative seat of government - the Grand Palace of Bangkok is a grand old dame indeed, that continues to have visitors in awe with its beautiful architecture and intricate detail, all of which is a proud salute to the creativity and craftsmanship of Thai people. Within its walls were also the Thai war ministry, state departments, and even the mint. Today, the complex remains the spiritual heart of the Thai Kingdom.

Continue to Temple of Golden Buddha or Wat Traimit,houses the world's largest massive gold seated Buddha measuring nearly five metres in height and weighing five and a half tons. In the past, artisans crafted the Buddhas in gold and disguised them from invading armies by a covering of stucco and plaster.

Stroll around Yaowaraj, or Chinatown of Bangkok, packed with market stalls, street-side restaurants and a dense concentration of gold shops, Chinatown is an experience not to miss. The energy that oozes from its endless rows of wooden shop-houses is plain contagious – it will keep you wanting to come back for more. Plan your visit during major festivals, like Chinese New Year, and you will see Bangkok Chinatown at its best.

Day 2 : Bangkok - Ayudthaya Ancient Kingdom – Bangkok (B/L)

07.30 am Pick up from hotel by English Speaking guide and private vehicle to Ayudthaya, second Kingdom of Thailand.

First visit Bang Pa In Palace summer palace of the kings of Thailand. The palace dates back to the seventeenth century, pre-dating the establishment of Bangkok as the capitol, although it did fall into disuse for a long period. All the buildings you see date from its revival by King Mongkut (Rama IV) in the nineteenth century. Today, the palace is only used infrequently, and then mostly for state occasions rather than as a royal summer residence.

Take a short cable car ride across the river to Wat Niwet Thammaprawat, small secluded temple located in island next to Bang Pa In palace. Founded in 1878, it is remarkable among Thai Buddhist temples in that its architecture mimics that of a European church, being built in the Gothic Revival style.

Visit Chao Samphraya Museum, the most impressive treasure of Ayuthaya's largest museum is the haul of royal gold (jewellery, utensils, gourds, spittoons) unearthed from the crypts of Wat Mahathat and Wat Ratchaburana. Beautifully carved teak friezes, some flecked with gold leaf, and numerous Buddha statues (some sculpted in the 7th century) are also on display.

Later in the afternoon, take a boat trip around Ayudthaya city, the boat stop shortly nearby Elephant nursery where guest can witness daily activity of elephant bathing. Continue cruising along Chaophraya River, disembark for visit Wat Chaiwatthanaram, continue by car to Temple of the Reclining Buddha (Wat Lokayasutharam). Return to Bangkok in the evening

Day 3 : Bangkok – Chiang Mai (B)

Transfer to Bangkok Airport for flight to Chiang Mai

Welcome by your English speaking guide and transfer to your hotel to deposit your business. Your room will be available from 14:00.

Then leave for an atypical visit that will allow you to discover the history of the Lanna Kingdom, the architectural style, the local products and the animation of the markets. In tuktuk, you will walk along the walls of the old city, including "Jaeng Sri Bhume"; contrast between the remains of the old and the modern city.

You will start your stroll at the temple Wat Si Suphan, said the silver temple located in a small street that welcomes for more than 5 centuries all the artisans of the region specialized in the work of money. This temple is known for its ordination hall made entirely of silver, inside and out.

You can also admire on the spot the work of several monks and craftsmen busy working the money ...
You will then discover the Wat Lok Moli temple, perfect example of Lanna architecture; specificity of this art of the former Kingdom of the North.

You will stop at the Warorot Market, the largest and busiest in Chiang Mai. Hundreds of stalls sell everything at very good prices.

Day 4 : Chiang Mai/ Elephant Care (B/L)

This program is for the benefit of elephants and local people who care for them. You will learn how to prepare a healthy meal for elephants, you will feed them and you will spend special moments with them. Elephants do not wear chains or bindings and are in complete freedom (Attention it's not a ride on elephants!). At their side, you will walk in the wild jungle and you will discover the behavior of these animals in their natural environment.

Departure from your hotel for the Camp located in the heart of nature at 1h30 from Chiang Mai with the camp car.
After wearing the traditional Karen outfit, you will be told how the camp works and how the breeders look after these animals daily.
You will participate in the preparation of the meal based on fruits, cereals, sugar cane ...
You will be introduced to the elephants and you will feed them.

At lunchtime you will have lunch at the camp in a preserved environment. Guests can enjoy typical Thai dishes prepared on site by the locals.

You will then leave accompanied by their breeders in the surrounding jungle and you bathe with the elephants, they love it! Return to your hotel in the afternoon.

Day 5 : Chiang Mai/ Thai food at homestay (B/L)

Pickup from your hotel between 8:00 and 8:30 in the morning.

Stop at Karen hill tribe village. Here you will be able to see the Karen in their own surroundings. Doing their work, visiting a market or just relaxing in their hammocks. The Karen are a colorful tribe so it’s a great photo opportunity here as well.

The time for a one hour trek around the Mae Wang and Sanpathong area. The trek is suitable for any reasonably fit person and families are more than welcome. Our experienced trekking guide will show you the local flora and fauna and guide you through rice paddies, over hills and past small rivers. Enjoy the dense forest and the open areas where Thais prepare their rice fields. After the one hour trek we arrive at the Mae Wang waterfall, where you can go for a refreshing swim. Don’t forget to bring a swimming suit!

After enjoying a cooldown at the waterfalls, our van will be ready to bring you to a restaurant. Enjoy a fresh Thai set menu lunch here and gather some energy for the final part of the tour.

Our last stop of the day is the Mae Wang river. Here we board a traditional bamboo raft for an hour raft down the river. Steering the raft is not necessary as there are many experienced locals who know exactly how it works. Your job is to sit down and relax and view the river banks while we slowly make our way to the end point. You might even see some elephants at work on the way!

Return to hotel in the afternoon. Remaining of the day is free at leisure.

Day 6 : Chiang Mai/ Doi Suthep – Krabi (B)

You will discover the temple of Doi Suthep, the most revered of the region. It is a place of pilgrimage for Buddhists around the world. Built in 1383, more than 1600 meters above sea level, it dominates Chiang Mai.

After having climbed the 306 steps of the staircase bordered by the mythical Nagas that lead to the temple, you will discover this temple and its superb golden stupa which conceals the relics of Buddha. The climb to the temple can be done by funicular.

You will be able to admire the superb panorama on the city of Chiang Mai and on the valley of the Ping.
Transfer to the airport for your flight to Krabi.Meet up with airport representative at Krabi Airport transfer to your hotel.
